Metacognitions of a 504
Sometimes you are lucky enough to be a part of a scene or a class or you saw some other people do something just awesome, and it makes you sort of stop and realize why you care so much about this, why you put so much time and energy into this one thing. It can make you love the fact that we all have our own perspectives on the world and when we all jump up together, sometimes something fucking magical happens. That is why we are all so obsessed with this thing, because to walk out into the world everyday, the chance for that sort of connection and collaboration is so rare, but when we walk into a show, or a classroom, or a rehearsal, those odds raise dramatically, because it’s where we let ourselves be anything.
I’m a big dork right now and I fucking love it.
